Alicia stays and finds....not all elves live with Keebler.

Alicia growls and stands by Fred. It may be hopeless, but she'll be damned if she's going to leave behind a fellow fox to be skinned by human poachers!

The poachers are about to clear the brush into the clearing, when they scream. They seem to have sprouted arrows from various places in their backs and sides. A second flight of arrows sends the screaming men to silence....the arrows have found....and pierced their hearts.

A small man (about the size of a ten year old boy), young looking but graceful, dressed in green leathers, steps out and keeps his bow drawn on the prone forms. Nodding as if in approval, the figure turns to the nervous foxes (who's tails are thrashing about in fear and confusion).

"My name is Grailing Skyclimber," the figure says as he puts away his bow, and drops his hood. A young seeming face framed with long, silver hair and rather pointed ears is revealed. "I and my tribe welcome those who wear the form of on the the Forest's Children....and aid Her fellow creations in a time of need."

The fox that Fred had freed trots into the clearing, and wags it's tail and pants happily at the sight before him. He yips a few times and lopes back into the woods. The elves smile and yip back....as if they actually understood the little vulpine. Fred and Alicia get the funniest feeling that.....the fox just repaid them for freeing it!

As other elves come out and free Fred from the trap, the foxes are escorted to a small, well hidden village....deep within the darkest part of this forest.

Fred blinks as he sees one elf in green robes (green seems to be a big thing for these forest folk), after the human bodies are stripped naked, wave his staff over the bodies. The bodies glow, and sink into the earth! Fertilizer?!

Fred and Alicia are invited to join the elves in one of their magical Sacred Rituals. Alicia looks like she's about to object, but a warning glance from Fred silences her. She sees in Fred's eyes that NOT accepting would prove.....dangerous. They participate, awaken the next morning to find.....complications......

1. Somewhere out in the woods, a darkly handsome man is gathering back his gold from the humans he duped. "Hopefully my charges will finally LEARN after it's all over...." he sighs, just before he disappears.
2. This isn't good. This isn't good at all.
