This being a tropical island, there were plenty of ingredients. They sent Velus out to catch them. He being half dog, he brought them back inside five minutes.
It would take Ridcully a full hour to do the spell.
Astra and Fred went off for a walk, while Velus helped grind the beetle carapaces. (Ridcully had some in his pocket).

  1. Astra and Fred talk about their developing feelings for each other.
  2. Astra and Fred throw rocks at seagulls.
  3. Astra and Fred gather up the illegal drugs they've been growing on the island. They'd fetch a pretty penny back home.
  4. Ridcully collapses and dies. Too much rich food at the university. Oh well. Stuck as a duck again.
  5. Same as above but Ridcully had told Velus the spell. Could it still work?
