"They wear that outfit because it was woven into their adopted culture!" whispers Minestus. "At first, I was leary of sampling from the European populus....too well organized I first thought. So I sampled from the Americas. That laid the initial groundwork for the Pack. Latter, though I brought in European samples, elements of the Indians were very much part and parcel of the Pack. The alterations I made in each of you made it seem....natural. And it fit in what I wanted for the future.

"A race who had mans perks, but none of his banes. And one that I would.....have led as a.....god."

The Dragon suddenly jerks upright and somehow throws a lightning bolt at the dark ceiling overhead. The sound of horrid cracking can be heard, and water begins to leak in at various places!

"If I can't have that," whispers the fading dragon, what little ribbons of lifeforce it had spent on one last act of vengence. "I'll see you in hell...." The dragon shudders and dies.....and then his body begins to rapidly decay.

Unearthly screams of rage echo throughout the city as the holders of the Crystallics try desperately to transport the endangered away. Finally, as the water is rising around them, the werebear Synizn makes the discovery as to what the problem is.

Bypass the effected areas and then get up and going! the werebear mage screams mentally at the entity who directed the Slipgate operations. The entity hums affirmative, and the group finds themselves.....at the ruined platform of the slipgate of Panaras.

Latter, after much rejoicing at the manimals adventurer return, a seven foot tall manwolf hands back the title of Pack Leader to the manfox Fred. Smiling at finally returning to what has become his home and family, he then explains what happened.....Which confused the Hell out of some people.....

1. Latter, seeing that the unintentional visitors are alive and well, the manfox Packleader explains that until there is a cure for the Phage, they mustn't leave this universe....else....kill millions.
