Fred and Fogeno in Siloon

Siloon was originally founded as a small penal colony. The primary prisoners sent to the colony were bootleggers and prostitutes from Allaria on the mainland. At first, the two groups led a remarkably pastoral existence farming peppermint. Many even married to each other and settled down with families. The king was so delighted with the reformation of these convicts that he granted them all a full pardon, and recognized Siloon as an independent commonwealth.

One fine day a soccer team from Nom Malbra was sailing too close to the rocks and was shipwrecked on the shore near Siloon. The water-logged athletes made it to the village, but where stymied by the lack of entertainment in town while they awaited rescue. Seeing an opportunity to make a few coins, the savvy villagers decided to go back to their old skills, and quickly opened a couple temporary bars and brothels.

The soccer players were overwhelmed, and quickly spent nearly all their money on alcohol and women. When they were finally rescued, they told everybody they met about the wonderous “services” the port had to offer. Before they knew what was happening, the former peppermint farmers were building bigger and better whorehouses and taverns and Siloon became known the Decadence Capital of the World.

Fred stood staring at it all, dumbstruck. ”Har har har,” laughed Fogeno. “Get that straw out of your mouth, Bunny. We’s got whorin’ and boozin’ to do. What tickles yer fancy more?”
