Josh goes around the bend

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 22198

Sir Josh, the only one armed, was venturing forth into unsecured areas to see if there was a way to lead those people back there to safety. Zombies had invaded the building, knocking over things, scaring people and losing gross bits of flesh all over. It really was quite a mess.
Sir Josh passed the single door and turned down the bend in the hallway. At the far end was book shelf. It was a library! Rows of books face him, with passage available to the left and right.
Sir Josh crept forward. He poked his head to the left and saw a blank wall. Swiftly, he looked to the right. The nine foot high shelf continued for twenty feet, ending with a rolling ladder at the far end. then opened up into a large, badly decorated reading area. Mismatched chairs were sit willy nilly, with end tables decorate with all sorts of manuscripts.
He looked up. There was five feet clearance between the top of the shelf and the painted ceiling but nothing was up there.

  1. Sir Josh ventures into the reading area.
  2. Sir Josh turns around and goes back to his companions.
  3. Sir Josh is grabbed by a zombie reaching -through- the shelf.
  4. Sir Josh climbs to the top of the shelf to get a better view of his surroundings.
  5. Josh stops to read a book on cake decorating.
