Bad Puns and Moldy Buns

”It’s about time,” she griped.

Ignoring the princess momentarily, Fred inserted the key into the lock on Astra’s chains. To Fred’s delight, the key fit perfectly!

But when Fred turned the key, instead of freeing Astra, it caused a thick gas to suddenly emit from her breasts! “Oh no,” he shouted, “a BOOBY trap!”

”Astra” just laughed at him. “Did you really think it would be that easy?” Her cackling was the last thing Fred heard before finally passing out from the fumes.

When Fred awoke he found himself in a small room that was brightly lit. The floor, ceiling, and walls all appeared to be made of solid marble. There were no windows or doors. Fred had been relieved of his armor and weaponry, but he was otherwise unhurt.

At Fred’s feet was a dirty stein filled with water, and a plate with a moldy piece of bread. There were no other furnishings or objects in the room. Fred had no idea how long he had been out, but he did know that he was nearly starving. But could the bread and water be another trap?

1. Fred consumes the “refreshment”.
2. Fred instead looks for a way to escape. If somebody had gotten him in here, there must be a way out!
