Astra kissed Fred on the cheek, and he blushed. "Thank you for helping me and good luck in your quest," she said. "I only wish that I could go with you."

"Thank you, Princess," he said. "Erm, aren't you going to cause a bit of a sensation if you turn up in court like that?"

Astra laughed. "I suppose I would. Hopefully I shall be able to pick up some clothes along the way."

"I apologise for not bringing any, Princess, but it hadn't occurred to me that you'd be in need of them," Jorn said.

"That's quite all right. You weren't to know. And besides, I don't suppose that centaurs often think about clothes, not wearing any themselves."

They said their final farewells.

1. We follow Fred.
2. We follow Astra, Jorn and Velus. After all, they are far more interesting.
3. But the dragon still had another surprise for them.
