The journey through the dark underbelly of the Shreken took about two
days, more or less. It was hard to keep track of time down here. Jorn
seemed to know the layout of the underground labyrinth like he had built
the place himself! He assured them he knew the safest paths, though they
may not always be the quickest. And he was right, they encountered no
dangers along the way. Fred took this uncommon opportunity to make an
extensive map of the cave network, starting from the left entrance to the
Southern Caves and leading all the way to the cave mouth on the Aqualarian
side. As they prepared to go their separate ways (Astra and Velus going to Aqualaria, Fred going back to slay the Dragon) on the day they reached the southern cave mouth, Jorn gave Fred a gift in gratitude for his help in rescuing the Princess, to help him slay the DragonMage…
