"We've searched the ship and found nothing suspicious," the leader, a
glazed expression on her face, replied, "and we'll return to our vessel
and report that you're clean and should be allowed to proceed. We'll make
sure not to mention this little exchange, or your presence, for that
matter." "Oh, one more thing," Aresia added, "my uncle Fred wants you all to 'oink' for him, and maybe walk around on all fours, if you wouldn't mind." "Of course," the leader gave the other greycoats a nod, "we serve to please." The four of them, in unison, went down on their hands and knees and began to oink...like pigs."Happy, Uncle?" Aresia remarked with a sly grin, giving me a knowing wink. It was amusing, and at the time I was very entertained by the little spectacle. They were really oinking with veracity, taking their roles as pigs quite seriously."That's enough," Aresia said, "now run along." The leader, now in a zombie-like trance, struggled to her feet and clumsily saluted us, nearly stumbling back onto her rear. She motioned for the others to follow, and they shuffled after her out of the bridge."Stay here," Aresia told me. "I'll be right back."
