Jarlath was confused by her behaviour. He pulled her into a hug, and she
sobbed on his shoulder. When the crying stopped, he let go of her, and
took her hand - "what was all the crying about?" asked Jarlath in a soft
voice. "well you looked so cute, sitting there - looking after us, i
couldn't help myself, i tried to get your attention, but you were in some
sort of daydream, so i tried not to bother you, but i couldn't stop
myself. I'm sorry" and she started to cry again. Jarlath put his arms
around her again to give her a comforting hug, she was so sensitive, so
sweet. He let go of her and moved back slightly, he looked at her tear-
shined eyes, and kissed her, softly and passionately. When they finally
broke apart, Jarleth said kindly "its time for you to go to bed, i will
watch some more", Carola got up, and went over near the others, to sleep.
Jarleth scolded himself for what he had sone - Fred wouldn't have taken
advantage of the situation, and kissed the beautiful princess. Just then
