You struggle with your scalp for a little bit, but finally one hair comes
out. You gently drop it on the altar and hear a high, squeaky, nasal
voice quickly say "Thanks! Here ya go!"
On the altar is something just as small and just as worthless. "What's this?" you ask. A louder, deeper voice answers. "We have given you...a peppercorn." "What does one do with a peppercorn?" you ask. The deeper voice responds again. "A peppercorn is used for...absolutely nothing! Well, what did you expect? A hair wasn't exactly the most useful thing either!" The high squeaky voice blurts in. "Hey! Gimme that! I'm bald!" "No! I collect the items, you just run things between me and the altar. Now go to your room and wait for the next item to appear!" "My hair! My hair! Waaa!!!" It appears that these invisible demons, or whatever they are, are going to be bickering for a while. It might be best for you to just leave now with your peppercorn. But where do you go?
