Unfortunately Fred was too quick to piss off his two new companions.
Hyrule was chock full of magic crap and much of it was currently chasing
Fred across the rolling plains. Fred had no idea where he was going, just that away from the monsters behind him was a good idea. He knew he was going North for the sun was setting behind the trees to his left. Fred leapt a small stone fence. He knew it would not stop any of the skeletons, one-eyed flesh balls that spat acid, possesed suits of armor slathered in human blood or the hideous green and orange tentacle things chasing him. And there were too many to fight. Fred's sword did drip with the gore of a dozen bad guys but even the most skilled fighter can be overwhelmed. Suddenly he saw a large dark shape on the next hill. It was a wall, about twenty feet high, made of stone and wood. Lights bobbed on the ramparts. "Ho!" Fred cried. "Ho! Open the door, I come in peace!" An arrow arced over him, taking out a tenatcle thing. "Sheathe your sword!" cried a voice from above. "And prepare to be taken into custody! You resist, you die!" "Fine!" Fred called, putting his sword away. A monster cackled as more arrows flew over him. "Arrest me! Put me in a dungeon!" A small door to the right of the main gate opened. Fred sucked in a deep breath and put all his power in. Closer, closer...more arrows twanted and monsters fell. Fred darted into the gate and was tackled hard. He struck his head on the way down and was unconscious for many hours. He awoke in...
