Zelda, Link and Fred emerged from the small tunnel into the massive arena.
A thick metal railing enclosed a half circle. There was about twenty feet
to the far end. The group advanced. Ten feet below was a gigantic maze of blocks. Each block was thirty feet high and ten feet wide. And some were moving back and forth. The whole maze spread out into the darkness but to the left and right only went for about forty feet. A few bats and other things squacked and chirbled up on the painted ceiling. It was a bit too high to make out the details but Fred saw that someone had spent a lot of time painting some sort of battle scene. Fred wondered what to do. "Look!" said Zelda. On the wall to the right, about a foot out from where the railing stopped, was a series of handholds set into the wall. They went down to one of the non moving blocks. "Guess that's the only way." said Link.
