Fred's Mother - or a Gigantic Shapeshifting Demon?

"What do you mean?" the woman said. "That's not your mother but my mother." (In spite of her low position and the fence, the figure was so big that she could see most of it.)

1. They realise that someone must be playing magical tricks on them, and that the giant figure isn't what it seems.
2. Fred recalls that his mother had a twin sister that he's never met. Could this woman be her daughter?
