Fred sits in a mid-court seat and giggles madly as the large sweaty men fight it out. Velus occasinally looks at him in quiet desperation. Velus soon realizes that Fred's not going to be doing much for a long time. Velus leaps out of the seating area and runs deeper into the caverns. Maybe he could find a way to sneak into the dragon's chambers when the tournament winner was taken in. Velus finds a large, twisting passageway. The walls were smoothed out. Definitely something mechanical made this. The passage occasinally looped back on itself. Velus realized this was a security precaution, so the Dragon's forces could corral any intruder. But if this was so, why hadn't Velus encountered any security yet?
