"There's no time to explain now; just stay here and guard your shop."

"But how can I fight them alone? I've never used a sword in my life."

He has a good point. Though you don't want to leave the shop unguarded, you'd be leaving the shopkeeper to die if you made him guard it. Maybe it's better if you send him out to help the residents of the inn and guard the shop for him. On the other hand, you'd feel better if you were doing something to help at the inn.

1. You convince the shopkeeper to guard his shop.
2. You offer to guard the shop for him.
3. You try to find someone else to guard the shop.
4. Before you can decide, you hear a loud crash inside.
