The Never Ending Quest - Episode 20090

Fred did not understand what had happened to him. He was in the caverns,
he heard someone scream for help, but found only an empty cave which just
as strangely lost its only entrance/exit. ~~damnable dragon tricks!
~~ thought Fred. So now he hung quartered in the air! Fred hoped no
vultures spot him. Suddenly vultures spot him. ~~damnable food chain!

Even as the first of the vultures began to dive towards the helpless knight a bright emerald flash erupted from thin air above Fred. A small slimey thing plopped into existance and fell upon Fred's stomach. It was an eye. "Ewww, gross." Not only was Fred shocked and surprised, but the vulture was as well. Instead of ceasing it's dive, it continued and scooped up the eye with it's beak. The eye looked more tastey than the knight. Upon scooping it up, however, the viscous fluid stuck fast to the inside of the beak and within moments the bird found itself choking in its futile attempts for air. Within a few more moments a thud was heard within the glade as one dead vulture lay upon the ground. The other vultures were so spooked that they flew away.
