Fred Passes Out

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1869

Fred passes out.

He wakes up in a sunny wooden glade with a brisk cool breeze.
That's the good news. The bad news is he's suspended by ropes twenty feet above the ground. Each rope is tied to a limb and is wrapped around a different tree.
Fred hopes no vultures spot him.

  1. Vultures spot Fred.
  2. Fred's knightly training hasn't been just waving a sword about. Escapes were taught also. It wears some skin off his wrists but he gets them free. With a smooth motion he grabs the leg ropes and avoids slamming into a smaller tree.
  3. Fred's knightly skills were limited to waving his sword about. He is utterly stuck.
  4. Arrows shoot by, breaking the ropes.
  5. Four elderly elven women happen to pass by. One faints when she sees Fred but the others try and figure out how to free him.
