Stacy rolled her eyes. "This is just typical. Why can't you give me explanation for all this
weirdness? If you're supposed to be me, why can't you tell me who I am?"
"Look," said the woman who claimed to be Stacy's future self, "I've been in this situation. Literally. We have to get out of here before--oh no." Times Square was already a chaotic mess, as always, with people jostling each other going about doing unsavory things under the garish presence of monolithic advertisements. At that moment, the advertisements all exploded. Huge streams of skulls like the ones Stacy had seen in the subway shot out, screaming somehow even though they had no lungs. A monsterous yet elegantly shaped red hand with fingernails sharp as swords shot down from the sky. It didn't seem to be connected to anything. It grabbed huge handfuls of people from the streets, then dropped them when it realized that it hadn't gotten whatever it was looking for--probably Stacy. Times Square exploded into panic. People started screaming and jostling around, running for their lives. Some people tried to help, but they didn't know the first thing about what to do--like everyone except the strange woman who claimed to be Stacy's future self. "Hurry!" she tells Stacy. "The Doctor's TARDIS is right over there. If we run fast enough--"
