It took some doing to get out of the caves, but it only demonstrated the
need that to kill the dragon, they would need help. They finally defeated the Gaurdian Of the Exit. It had been difficult when the Gaurdian had bragged that no force directed at him could harm him. Astra had fashioned what she had called a boomer rang and threw it sideways. The crude weapon whipped around in a circle and smacked the gaurdian silly. All three had run like bats out of hell. Velus was the one to realize that they had been outside when they decided to retreat. Astra kept her head and wisely pointed out that such power to muddle the mind was even further proof they needed backup. Down in the village Fred had bought a set of clothing off an old lady for Astra to wear. This was because Astra had come to realise that the set of armor which she had acquired in the caves was good when one was whacking off dragon heads but...well, walking for a full day ould start chafing where one didn't want chafing. It's not as if she couldn't do the hike in fighting armor, there was just no reason to invite chafing when alternatives were about. The group arrived, dusty but unchaded. at the castle one full day after leaving the dragon's caves. To their suprise...
