Captain Picard and Chief Engineer Torres vanished in a blinding flash from
the USS Voyager. They thumped to the earth in a darkened field near a stream. Torres picked bugs off her arms as she stood up. Picard had his tricorder our and was scanning the area. "We seem to be in the midst of a farm." he said quietly. "I am detecting vast amounts of fertilizer, ordered plant rows and life forms, that way." He pointed to a vague set of lights about a mile away to the right. Torres pulled out her tricorder and pointed it at the sky. It was dark and mostly overcast but the small device did not need a clear view to check on the star patterns. It gave off a small beep and scrolled some information. Torres' heart leaped. "Captain." she said. Her voice was strained. "Yes?" "I'm detecting Alpha Quadrant star patterns as they relate to Earth! I think this might be Earth but this can't be." She tapped at her device some more. "From what I remember in piloting drills Paris took me on in the holodeck...the planets are completely out of alignment. There's comets where there shouldn't be and the energy pattern for Saturn is completely wrong. It still has it's rings!" "Time travel." said Picard. "I wonder if it's Q."
