Showtime in the Crypt (Part 2)

No, the thing of it is that no matter what, this particular Earth is safe. With the deal of being a Champion (who's past can't be altered to unmake them after they take up the job) it means instead the antimatter blast will, if it should happen, will be directed to another nearby parallel universe's Earth. Know that sounds draconian, but that's how it is. The Rules and Agents, I've been told, wouldn't like to have to do it....but they're under their own limitations (i.e. if they tried to directly intervene for a "happy ending" their would be bloody Hell to pay between the Offices of the Celestrials).

So let's not fail, I think to myself as we enter further into the tomb, quietly.

First thing our plan calls for is to get that humanoid lizard (a physical manifestation of Omega's and not a real, living being) out of the way.

I pull up the hood of my cloak and vanish from sight.

"Showtime," I whisper softly a little bit as I head off.

This next part is going to be a bit touchy...

Omega

This does not make sense. It is almost too easy as I take control of the Matrix back on Galifrey. It is almost like they are....

....letting me in unopposed?

A clatter behind me warns me of something....

...and my creation has it's neck twisted in an odd angle, with a woman (who's taking it's pistol) standing over it grimly.

"Not something I rather enjoyed," she mutters absently, "Even if it's not sentient, at the bottom of it all."

She then, after pocketing the pistol in a pouch, looks directly at me. One part of me notes something....odd....about the pouch. That and something about this woman.....

"Don't you ever lock the door?" she asks me, looking bemused at such an oversight.

Who is this primitive to dare!.....

I hear others entering as she speaks. One is putting some kind of silver necklace around his neck and feel vertigo as my mind control gets severed!

HOW?

"Take it you're Omega?" the woman says as I still am reeling.

Not waiting an answer she and the Doctor (?!) help me to a chair.
