"Do you have any ideas?" the human woman known as Astra asks me.

"The first thing that comes to mind," I say slowly as I give the question serious consideration, "Is for me to speak with some within the elfin village we are taking Tarin Gazin. Hopefully, with the Lord's grace their contacts with various....er....organizations that clandestinely catered supplies for their religious ceremonies did not go up in smoke along with all of Wallants."

By now I am used to these humans.....these friends (a title I don't use lightly) knowing of the facade most of elfin people put out to the rest of the world and even to those from other elfin enclaves. I am now beginning to even become used to the idea of others knowing of my religious believes (what I took up after the fall of my Nation).... Hrmph, well, I had hoped and I am happy to see from their faces they realize that one can not openly buy their true religious paraphernalia if one wishes to keep their true religious belief secret one must go secretive routes and supplies. That meant, by needs, places such as Wallants.

If there are still contacts with those shadowy means, we shall make contact with them to get these letters delivered secretly to their intended recipients.

If not, then...I shall see what I can arrange. I know a few folks within this village who may be able to pull something off. At least we shall have attended to this dwa....to this former dwarves needs the best we could!

They deserve much more than that, these human beings for what they have done, but for now this will be a beginning. I know that they have done something no elf has been able to accomplish....and as such I don't take it lightly!

Indeed, by elfin custom....on my world (odd to have to qualify that), whatever the case, I shall be with them until their last! I can do nothing less!

So, after a bit of preparation, the one known as Jarlath soon has our magical carpet (strange way to travel....but nice) is arriving at our destination.

"Oh, and before we go on," I say as I look at Jarlath, "I suggest to delay revealing certain....names for myself and for you as well. My true name may open doors but would call too much attention on something we wish secret. As for your red haired wife maybe an alias and a slight magical change in hair color might be in order. I know that you were expecting an easier time on this quest, but now I suggest that if we must by needs go beyond this village....
