We now visit a perhaps unexpected place. A certain gnome was sitting in his favourite chair in front of the fireplace, sipping tea from a tiny cup while reading a book. A loud pounding on his outer door suddenly startled him, causing him to spill out most of the tea in his lap. Swearing he hurried to the door. After checking that all defence mechanisms were working properly he peaked out through a spy-hole. When he recognised the man standing outside his bad temper immediately melted away. He swung the door open wide and burst out, "Bert! I haven't seen you for years!" "Nice to see you to, Chucky," Bert smiled. "Come in, come in!" Chucky said, closing the door behind Bert and resetting all his traps. "So, what brings you here after all this time?" "I wish I could say that this is only a social call," said Bert as he took of his hat, "but I come because I'm in need of your magic expertise." "So what else is new? " Chucky laughed. Bert smiled. "Sit, sit" the gnome ushered Bert into a couch, "I'll make some more tea." Bert relaxed and put his feet up on the coffee table. The last few days had been hectic for him. Soon Chucky came back carrying a tray. He handed Bert a cup of tea and sat down in his own chair. "Now tell me why you're here." He said, stirring his tea with a spoon. Bert put down his cup on the coffee table, "Strange matters are at hand. Matters involving, among others, a knight claiming to be a dragon slayer, a child who is much more than she seems and somehow the King of Allaria... Bert and the gnome is in league?
