Family Ties, Loyalties, and Such Issues....

It seems my biodata records have gone missing from Gallifrey...

"I do trust that you are not planning on carrying out a disintegration on the Doctor," I say bodly in a droll voice (surprising myself), "Rassilon or not, don't believe that it would go over too well with some folks here if you're going to try to play out for some reason what happened in Arc of Infinity."

Those Champions (like Inquirer, of course) who aren't listening to whatever Morgana is saying about the results of her wish spell, seem to be hovering closer towards Rassilon, who seems taken aback by the sudden....hostility in the offing if he answers wrongly.

It's called family ties and loyalty. Comrades in arms and such is going on here, I know as I step closer myself.

Rassilon or not, I'm standing by the Doctor!

Then......then....

Eyes fall upon Rule 1, who waves them (and me) off.

The Celestrial hadn't left the scene yet, I see. Let's see what the fellow has to say!

"He has no intention on doing that," the Rule says softly, "Though some fools in the Senate called for such things, despite knowing well that it wouldn't.....stick."

Champions, of course, can't die. Oh, you could damage or even disintigrate their bodies, but it wouldn't last. The body would soon come back, one way or another, leaving one rather pissed off fellow to deal with.

Rassilon, knowing full well that, also knew that it wouldn't do well to....piss off the Rules and Agents, despite the cordial relationship he had with the Celestrials. Oh, he could probably stop the Doctor (or the other Champions) cold by placing them in stone like those who'd sought imortality from him before....his recall to life, but the Champion's bosses would be....furious. Furious and swift to undo such measures if nothing else did it for them

Doesn't pay to get Celestrials angry at you.

Still, on balance, I can see that Rassilon is taken aback by us. Not many people wouldd be so....bold.

Then, he blinks as something seems to register.

"How did you know of the Arc of Infinity?" the Lord President of Galifrey asks sharply. Then he blinks again as the dime drops.

So even he can be surprised every once in a while! I think to myself, hiding a slow smile that keeps insisting on trying to break through here....

"TV show?" he says softly, remembering my and my sister's taste in classical British scifi shows. "Betty?" the Doctor says softly, looking at me and my "sister", "Ragan, what would you like to share with us?"

While still being ten years together with the Doctor, there are still things I and Betty haven't told him. Due to privacy. Due to....not wanting to embarrass him. Due in part to not distress him over possible things that may or may not be true.

1. Seems that in this case, though, duty calls....
