Josh is frightened by the hallucinations he is going through. Fortunately
he lives across the street from a hospital. He picks up a backpack, shoves some books in, a few smacks and a change of undies and heads out the door. He locks it, crosses the road (he had to wait for a semi to pass) and heads out across the field. He passes a sign indicating this was to become the hospital's parking garage. It was old and faded, having stood there for three years at least. Josh hopped off a curb into the regular parking lot, waited for a small red Yugo to rattle by and headed for the big red Emergency sign. He entered a small but wide waiting room. To the right was several vending machines. To the left was reception. To big automatic doors were straight ahead. A tall redhead with a bandaid on her right cheek appeared at the desk. "Can I help you?" she asked. "Hi, um, yes. I'm...um...seeing things that aren't real. Hallucinating. Bad. I need help." Josh sank into a seat. "Please." Things fuzzed out. He awoke in a gurney, being lead through the doors. A bearded grey face was above him. A doctor. "Hi, Hawkeye. Where's Radar!" Josh warbled. "He's delirous." said the doctor. "Bye bye now!" said Josh and went away.
