Velus warmed up next to a steam vent while Astra went and killed some food. They had passed much opprotunity for snackage on the way down but their first priority had been to get Velus warmer.
Velus munched on berries and squirrel brisket as Fred and Astra discussed their predicament.

  2. They were rescued by powerful white mages.
