"Oh, I don't think it will," came a familiar voice. The Doctor walked into their field of view, holding his sonic screwdriver in his hand. "This device has many uses," he said, "including disabling primitive forcefields. It's lucky that it didn't occur to our captors to search me."

"Is trying to escape really wise?" Stacy asked. "We're out of the cells, but how do we get out of the police station without being spotted?"

1. "I have it all worked out," the Doctor said confidently.
2. "Well, I have an idea, but it's rather risky," the Doctor told them.
3. "I haven't the faintest idea," the Doctor admitted.
