"Are all your troops, apart from me, dragon-women? If so, why are they all female?"

"They are indeed all female. The reason is that women - especially dragon-women - are much more tractable and willing to obey orders. I've tried dragon-men in the past but I had terrible trouble with them. They were loyal, certainly, but when the red mist of battle overtook them they just charged forward, forgetting all about my carefully prepared tactics. Dragon-women may be slightly less strong than dragon-men, but the difference is marginal, and they will still be far stronger than the human soldiers that they will face."

"But why did you make me female?"

"So many questions, Captain. It is lucky that I am in a good mood today. Call me old-fashioned, but it somehow did not seem proper to have female troops led by a male officer. I also hoped that you might be a bit less stubborn in female form. Finally, it amused me...

"But now, Captain Fred, drink from the goblet. After that, it will be time:

1. "For you to be introduced to the troops that you will be leading. A nicer bunch of girls you couldn't hope to meet."
2. "For the invasion of Allaria to begin. Yes, you will be leading your troops against your own country."
3. "For the invasion of Aqualaria to be launched."
4. "For you to visit your sister. I hadn't originally planned to permit that, but I feel unusually merciful today."
