Suddenly, an eerie voice filled the room, or so it seemed to Fred. "Ah, Dear Lady Fred - already surrendering to the inevitable, I see!"

"Who is this?" I shout, not happy at all that someone is fooling around with the coms like that.

"Nobody that you need to know, dear Captain," the voice chuckles. "You'll have more things to worry about with these signs of what you'll need to worry about, what with this portents of things to come!"

Suddenly, two female forms appear out of thin air. There is an odd smell in the air. Horseflesh, I'd say but athese two naked girls before me are not horses. They're sweating bullets, but they're not horses (despite the smell coming off them)...

1. "Centaurs?" Uhura gasps, causing me to look at her oddly.
