Betty's Dilemma

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 18320

Apparently Madame Zelberta was not able to hear Betty. Either that, or she could hear her but was determined to take no notice. After all, an exorcist was not supposed to be swayed by the entreaties of the spirit being exorcised. Whatever the reason, she just kept on sprinkling.

Betty was under a compulsion to watch both Fred and Astra. On the other hand, if she could find a way to withdraw that part of her consciousness that was watching Fred and merged it with the portion watching Astra, then perhaps she could dodge the completion of the exorcism. Torn between these conflicting desires, she eventually:

  1. Managed to withdrew that part of herself watching Fred into the part that was watching Astra.
  2. Found everything going black. The exorcism had been completed. Then she found herself in Death's residence.
  3. Found everything going black. The exorcism had been completed. Then she found herself at the Pearly Gates.
  4. Found everything going black. The exorcism had been completed. Then she found herself in Hell.
