In Which Betty Remains Dead

But, as if she had provoked fate, having said this she felt a tugging to her left, simultaneous with a second tug that seemed to be trying to pull her to her right. Then, suddenly she was somewhere else - or rather, she realised, in two separate places at once. Apparently as a ghost she could be in more than one place at a time, and if Fred and Astra were separated then her compulsion to follow their adventures would have this result. She appeared to be both inside a building where some sort of convention was taking place and on a street outside a butcher's shop.

She wasn't sure how her senses or her mind could cope with this, but she found that she had no problem in following the two sets of events that were simultaneously unfolding in front of her.

1. Not all readers will necessarily be so adept, though, so we'll concentrate on what Fred is up to.
2. We'll see what Astra is doing.
3. We'll continue from Betty's POV. I'm sure the readers can cope with following two stories at once.
