Scott, Pagh'Wraith, and the Voyager makes three.....

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 17721

"It's just too bad that what happened to that brilliant scientist didn't happen to whatever is possessing the computer core," Scott mutters. The others turn and look at Scott in askance. "When that scientist tried to transfer his mind into the Enterprise computer, the only thing transferred was data . . . . . not the spirit of the man."

"Ooookaaayy." Carey says. Scott was an okay guy, but sometimes it was amazing where a conversation would go with him.

The humans get down to the business of trying to gain control of the ship BEFORE the. . . . .thing that has control of it comes to it's senses and tries to kill them all for real!

***********************************************************

The Par Wraith is amused with it's latest victim. It isn't that the victim is strong, swift, or anything like that. In fact, the linear being is as limited as others of it's ilk, but the thing has a native cunning and intelligence . . . . and a as far as the Par Wraith can tell, similar views on "life" and it's place in it, as the Par Wraith has! The female's name is . . . . Seska? . . . and has been giving the Par Wraith a run for it's money in the hunt! Even if the Wraith, through the computer, is doing what is known as "multitasking" . . . . that is, hunting while piloting the linear conveyance to a desired wormhole, the Wraith probably wouldn't have any easier time at the hunt.

Finally, as the Par Wraith delivers the final blow. Suddenly . . . . . .

  1. The "Probablility sink" that is Scott has a dangerous interaction with the energy of the Pagh'Wraith!
  2. Scott, noticing the entity that is possessing the computer has a disturbinly similar reading that he knows that the Wormhole Aliens of Deep Space Nine have . . . . . puts two and two together.
