Three Months Later...

Scott looked around the replicated Holodeck setting. A lump rose in his throat as he saw his friends and realized the effort they had put forth to pull this off. On his right, the left side of the gazebo, framed by the cool (replicated) Atlantic sea were both Torres, human Wildman and human Seven. Scott's grin grew goofier as he realized how uncomftable Seven looked in the pale pink bridesmaid dress.

To his left stoof human Paris and Kim and one overbearing human Chakotay. (The furry doubles had to be on the bridge). Chakotay was standing at attention, keeping a careful eye on things. Kim stole discreet glances at Seven. Paris had his hands in his pockets and rocked on his bare feet in the sand that streched out behind him.
More friends, quiet with awe as the two continued their trek up the aisle, filled the small number of chairs selected for the ceremony.
"Scott..." whispered human Janeway. "Scott... It's time."
Oh. Sam was already here. She smiled at him.

1. "Dear friends. We are gathered here today to join..."
