Poor preperation make piss poor performance!

"Wait," Frederigo D'Honaire says before the were-bear does anything more. "Before we chase this other mage from this town, I don't want to have to go into a situation like I and Astra faced last time. I admit that when I went out to slay the Dragon of the Southern Cavern.....the Northern Cavern for Astra.....I admit I NEVER bargained for this turn of events.....

"Through a series of unlikely event," Fred continues, looking at Astra. "I mistook you for a Kitsune, and we produced a clutch of children. I know that we have only known each other a short time, but I am a FATHER.....a father who only got to only hold his offspring for a few minutes! Never mind about NAMING THEM. Astra, even I know that things have come too fast for comfort.....but I want to have the option in the future to ge a chance to RAISE my children....if that is the best for them! I'm not saying thaat you have to.....join me in this endevour, Astra. However, I would like to .....find out about you and your family more than we've had a chance to, so far. Do you understand what I'm getting at?"

Not trusting herself to say anything, Astra just nods. She didn't understand the whole of it, but she at least understands the important parts of what Fred is getting at. Synizn looks like he's about to protest when Fred turns to him again.

"You say that those family will raise them like their own," Fred says calmly. "That's fine if there's still a danger out there to them. It keeps them out of harms way. But if we neutralize this threat.....can't you understand that maybe it would be good for one parent....maybe both if she feels like it.....in lending a hand at raisning them? If that parent finds that he can actually provide a good enviroment for the kid?"

The were-bear looks at the Knight funny, and then nods. He isn't sure that this is for the best, but Fred does have a RIGHT here that the were-bear acknowledges.

"On another matter before we go rushing after this mage that is in this town," Astra says suddenly. "Shouldn't we be properly equiped. I doubt that these bathrobes will cut it for a serious fight."

Synizn coughs in embarrassment, having forgotten THAT aspect and.....

1. He changes the robes into armor, hands them some faintly glowing swords and sheilds.Then,the couple sees the were-bear concentrate, and the were-bear shrinks down into the shape and size of a demi-fox!"Too late to cure myself, but this is better.....
