The Broadlyn Way led northwards through MalBoncton and towards the
Salmonshire Confederacy. It wound its way between the hills and woods
until it came to an end at Mordnse. There were villages between Walants
and Mordnse, as well as other roads and bridges and streams. The demi-fox
mob that hoarded the Way this day was a sight to see. They walked with
purpose, they stomped with zeal, and as they marched ever northward they
sang a song:
"Hey! Ho! Nobody's Home - No drink, no meat, no money have we none! Still, we will, be merry, very merry - Cause we're gonna bash Synizn one! Bash him! crash him! dash him in the head! Hey! Ho! He better be at home!" It should be noted that demifoxes are not known for their gift of song. At one point --far, far from Mordnse, the southern Goth and this mob's northern cousins-- the mob left the Broadlyn Way and headed west towards the little mountains of Brue. It was there that lived the community of werebears, it was there that stood Sutter's Still, it was there that - somewhere- the golden arabesque was known to fly. "What if the other bears don't know where Synizn is?" asked Lyn. "We'll bash the info from 'em!" cried out Rush. "I think you misnderstood me... I meant, what if they really don't know?" "Oh, we'll bash 'em first, just to make sure." "No, no, you don't seem to get my point," continued Lyn. "We can't get information from folk who don't have it." "You're right," replied Rush. "I don't get your point. I still say we bash 'em!" "But bashing them won't get us any closer to Synizn!" "OHHHHHHHH!" said Rush, the light turning on. "But it will make me feel good!"
