Stacy feared that it would be too much to hope that a knight in shining armour would appear a second time to help her (though the armour of the previous knight had of course ultimately proved to be very badly tarnished indeed). She continued to argue with the receptionist, but with little hope of success.

Then she remembered something. When she had come here before, she had met an interviewer from the show she worked for. [7665] Now, had his name been mentioned in her hearing at any point? If so, she could get Amanda Jobsworth (as she thought of the woman) to ring him for her, and get him to come down and arrange for visitors' passes for herself and Helen. She had already established that Amanda would make such a call, but only if she could give her a name. [6745]
