The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1693

Fred hit the ground and turned onto his back. He pulled his humble little
sword up in front of him in a pitiful, pitiful attempt at self-defense.
The dragon stopped in his tracks, took one look, and threw his head back
in laughter. Lord Fred could feel blood trickling down from a gash on his
forehead getting into his eyes. He could barely make it out when he saw
the big man jump off of a branch in the tree above him. The man had long
black hair and wore animal skins. In one swift motion, the man smoted off
the dragon's head at the neck with a huge sickel-like weapon. There was a
burst of firey explosion from the dragon's neck. Lord Fred could barely
believe his eyes. The man came and helped Fred up. He introduced himself
as Jake. Jake had been sent by his own kingdom to slay the dragon. He walked Fred back to the cave. They made an agreement. Jake could keep the treasures and riches, but Fred could keep the damsel.
