Fred's Simple Idea

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1692

If the walls were made of stone, the walls could be dissasembled! Fred crawled over to the stones and saw that they were packed together with a simple paste. Fred turned, dug through the goo-coated treasure for a dagger. He came up with one worth thousands and thousands. Fred cleaned it off on his tunic, then hacked out a fairly large stone with it. The dagger was now worthless metal but fresh air poured through the hole.
Fred stumbled over to his wheezing, red-faced companion. He hefted him, swung him over to the whole and jammed his face inside. Velus choked, spat, choked some more, then breathed simple, long, healthy breaths. There was no sign of the allergy.
But there was still the problem of him and Velus being stuck at the bottom of the deep, deep chute.

  1. Fred hacked out a large hole in the wall. He and Velus went through.
  2. Velus, being smaller then Fred was easily dragged through his breathing hole by a strange entity. Oh no!
  3. Fred drags out a wet-dry vac and vacums up the goo.
