The Never Ending Quest - Episode 16542

A few simple inquiries did, indeed, give them all the information they needed, and at the appropriate time the entire group simply showed up at the relevant spot. They were greeted by a surprised-looking BBC employee.

"Mr. Pertwee! Very unexpected to see you here! Come to have a look at the filming?"

"Yes," said the Doctor, playing his role quite smoothly. "I happened to be in the area, and I thought I would pop to say hello and show my friends here what a location filming looks like. That is, if you don't mind?"

"No, no, of course not! Glad to have you!"

They all breathed a silent sigh of relief. It looked like all was going to go well!

Soon, they were all standing quietly out of view of the cameras, watching Colin Baker running around pretending to outwit a horde of Daleks.

The Bettys were thrilled. The Doctor, on the other hand, wore a rather ominous expression... "That's meant to be me?" he hissed angrily when the cameras stopped rolling.

  1. "Right, that's it. Obviously I must do something to prevent my image from being this badly misrepresented! I wonder if they've an opening for a script writer?"
  2. "I'm very sorry, my friends, but I'm afraid this show deserves to be cancelled!"
  3. The Bettys valiantly attempted to explain to him that it was a bad regeneration, and Sylvester McCoy's stint as the Doctor would be much better.

ragan (who has nothing against Colin Baker, but definitely thinks the 6th Doctor was badly written)
