Confusing Serfs With Coconuts

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 16532

Fred questioned why the serfs had those cocoa-nuts, which usually grow far to the south. Before his question could be answered, an arrow whizzed by and landed in the forehead of one of the fruit-bearing servants.
He turned to the closest knight, whacking him on the head with the feathered part of the shaft.
Fred and his two companions had assumed battle positions.
"Message for you, sir." said the serf, who died.
The knight unrolled a piece of paper off the shaft and held it up to the light. "My...mother...needs milk and eggs and some of the new adventure scrolls, none of the 'Conan' crap."
Belboz was shocked. "And they killed a man just to deliver THAT message?"
The knight cocked an eye at him.

  1. The knight gave a perfectly logical reason why messages were passed in such a manner.
  2. The knight gave a dumbass reason.
  3. The knight was shot in the head with an arrow.
  4. Belboz was shot in the head with an arrow.
  5. The dead serf was shot in the head with another arrow.
  6. The message was shot with an arrow, tearing it away. The mess vanished into the trees.
  7. The next author gives an explanation as to why Lots42 is the way he is. (Theory: Cocaine abuse).
