As Fred and Belboz are walking along, the tunnel begins to become more
square-shaped. The walls then are no longer jagged rock, but smooth,
polished iron. There are still torches on the wall, but they glow with a
strange, white flame. Belboz says that this is merely caused by the
burning of a chemical that someone must have put into the torches. They
burn brighter, hotter, last longer, and burn with a bright-white color.
They eventually come to a fork in the hallway.
