Roland Recaps (Part 2)

That is when, of course, I and the others had a most unexpected visit from the others.....right out of thin air!!

Yes, out of thin air, my new comrades: a six inch high fairy woman with blue hair (who, may I add, does not come from a magical bottle as those of my world would have it......much to my surprise), an Amazonian warrior queen who stands shorter than I do by a bit (but is tall by the standards of her world), a raven haired female elf (who used to be named "Fred"), a flame haired elfin man (who used to be named "Astra"), and a dragon who sometimes walks about in the form of a man (and despite his sometimes foul disposition is a good enough man in my book).....

To "make the understatement of the century" as Eddie would put it in his parlance, I and my ka-tet owe them very much!

After first trying to trick the fiendish device known as Blaine into an ambush in "cyber-space" (which almost worked), she then has Eddie blow every "logic circuit" (whatever a "circuit" is besides a fixed travel route) with his gods awful jokes in riddle form. Obvious in hindsight that method of disposal.....and I fear that it again illustrates that I indeed do have trouble "seeing around corners." After apologizing to Eddie for having ever looked down upon him for that trait of his (which saved our lives), we then had the next shock. And believe me, none was more shock than I when Queen Astra's "AI" friend, Probe.....rescued my first love Susan from death! I'd seen her burn to death centuries ago (or so it had seemed, it turns out).......

Well, let us just say that these people are now VERY near and dear!

Though...how a place where there is "no there there" (?) as Queen Astra put it can have a locale can have an address without having a physical location......?

Ah, never mind! I just know that I have much to learn in the days ahead!

1. That said, let me just say that what Frank tells me and the others later. Something that caused that Lisketter lady to scream in anguish and faint.....and something I felt cause her mind to snap!
