Stacy supposed that if Davros succeeded she might get her memories back,
but she was not
looking forward to the attempt, as she was sure that he would be quite
happy to fry
her brain in the process should her amnesia prove resistant.
Davros played with some more controls. Suddenly a flash-bulb seemed to go off in Stacy's brain, followed by a brief instant of intense pain, and then she realised that her memories were back - but only some of them. The more recent of the two walls had been broken down, so that she could remember her visit to Socorro and her adventures with the Doctor, but the original wall was still in place. It was a strange coincidence, she thought, that both her attacks of amnesia had struck her not only when she was on the subway but at exactly the same point on the network each time. She would have to be sure to take the bus in future. Meanwhile Davros had been watching the images of Stacy's memories on the viewscreen. "I have not acquired any additional useful information," he said.
