Meanwhile, back at the forest clearing, Fred had decided that if he did
not want
to lose the beautiful woman to Zantar he needed to make his move at once.
He realised
that he started at a considerable disadvantage, for Zantar had rescued the
woman
and she was bound to feel grateful. In constrast,
it might look to her as if Fred had been skulking in the bushes until it
was
safe to come out.
That couldn't be helped, though. Fred coughed, and stepped out into the clearing. But at that instant...
