"The King has no daughter by that name!" Lord Fred burst out. "How dare you walk around telling people that your father is the King?!"

Exotica was stunned. Then she opened her mouth and yelled at him:

"I just told you, you ignorant idiot! We must be in an intersecting world-line! We come from different worlds!"

Now Fred was stunned. "I-I'm sorry-"

"Don't be sorry. I understand that people are generally stupid in your world," Exotica said, as if she was telling a small boy why he could not have another cookie.

  3. "But what can we do now?"
  4. This had to be a witch. Intersecting world-lines?! Yeah, right. Lord Fred chopped her head off.
