The Never Ending Quest - Episode 14956

The sun was bright and warm that day and birds sung in the trees as the four walked down through the evergreen forest.
Fred revelled in every breath of fresh mountain air after the stay down in the murky caves.

After a few hours they reached the mining village Mudspot, Allarias farthest outpost in the Shreken Mountains. It was populated by grumpy old ore miners, their even grumpier wives, a few merchants and the occasional trapper come to sell their furs.
As the party approached the village a flock of dirty children come running towards them, screaming on top of their lungs.

"It's the dragon hunter!"

"He's come back alive!"

"Did you kill the dragon?! Did you kill the dragon?!"

Fred tried to calm the horde and confessed that the dragon was slain, though buy Aqualaria's princess and not him.
The kids did not bother to listen to the last part however. Shouting with glee they ran through the village announcing the return of Allaria's new national hero. Fred shrugged apologetically to Astra.

  1. They go to buy some horses for the trip
  2. Since it's getting late they go to the village tavern
