"How about it, Ambasador Mollari?" Kirk asks, turning back to the Main Viewer. "Does that suit you? I'd be honored... if you'd come aboard."

"I'd be delighted." Londo says with his winningest smile (You'd wish he wouldn't do that... those TEETH). "I can arrange a shuttle to come up to the Enterprise within thirty minutes. Sorry, if I'm rushing, but... the situation down here is urgent! I've had the Shadow... expelled from the planet, but the Vorlon's are making the situation... difficult."

"Hmmm." Kirk says, with a thoughtful look. "And my little ship might make them think twice about creaming planet. Am I right?"

"Uh, yes." Mollari blinks, again re-evaluating the young Starfleet captain.

"How about if we beam you up?" Kirk asks suddenly.

"If this 'beaming' is faster than a shuttle..." Lando says warily. "But what is this 'beaming?'"

"It's matter/energy transport." Kirk answers vaguelly. "Energize."

Scotty, who had been standing by in the Transporter room, slides back some bars and...

"...IN THE NAME?!" Mollari shouts as he forms on the pad. He blinks and goggles the surrounding for about five seconds, and then makes a heroic effort to pull himself together. "So... that is 'beaming aboard?'"

"Aye, it tis." Scott says with manifest pride. "Captain Kirk will be down in a few minutes. Hope you don't mind. You did say, basically, that the sooner you and the Captain meet... the better."

Mollari nods, wondering just WHAT he just got himself into. No doubt his aid is going out of his mind, trying to figure out where he just disappeared to! More of a worry, is the ADVANCED technology this ship is packing! He had read sketchy reports about this ship... defeating the Shadows almost single handedly. He'd scoffed at the idea at the time, but now... he wasn't so sure. Oh, he'd believed that the Enterprise, if he--Mollari--could persuade Kirk to help....would make it that much harder.....that Mollari would have a better bargaining position with just one more ship.....

You and Kirk come walking through the door, and Mollari hears something about how the Centauri ambassador it dressed something like the Spuire of Gothos. Mollari wonders who this spuire is, and maybe congratulate him for his fashion sense!

"Sorry for the less than formal proceeding, Ambassador, but time IS of the essence!" Kirk says, clapping his hands together. "Now, if you'd follow me?"
