Reality check for Velus

Fred looks down at the village boy turned dog and frowns.

"Velus....do I have to remind you that you're a dog?" Fred says softly, "While I'm impressed you can point at yourself with those paws of yours...and can even halfway speak there with that insult....the fact remains paws are paws and hands are hands. You don't have hands any more......

"And a thief needs hands, so please shut up," Fred finishes coldly, glaring down at the dog, fingering his sword.
