Accusations

At first the king said nothing, he just stared at Fred dumbstruck. Then finally after many seconds of silence he spoke up: "Guards! Guards!" the king called, and not long after a dozen guards showed up.

"The king is an evil man who is working with the dragon," Fred told them and pointed at the king. "Don't listen to a word he says."

"A great plan. Really," the king said with a smile. "But you have to do better than that. That is in fact not Lord Frederigo D'Honaire, but really one of the dragons agents in a magical disguise. He is spreading rumors about me so that he hopefully can weaken the land."

Fred looked at the king in anger as the guard seized him. Why must he be so impulsive he thought, he should have waited and plotted, not just accused the king. And so was it that Fred was locked in the dungeon to carry out his life sentence in jail. He could only imagine what the king was telling his wife this very moment.

As he sat there in the cell pondering on his future, he could hear a sound from the window facing the courtyard. It was

1. Velus the wonderdog.
2. Fred's wife.
3. Harold, one of the king's guards and an old friend of Fred.
4. the princess.
